経歴

国立環境研究所では、1992年頃から地上観測所（沖縄県波照間島、北海道落石岬）、航空機（日本発定期航路、シベリア）、船舶（太平洋の貨物船）を観測のプラットフォームとして、大気と海洋表層の二酸化炭素をはじめとする温室効果ガスモニタリング研究を継続しています。海洋と陸上生態系のような二酸化炭素吸収源の変動やアジア地域の温室効果ガス発生源影響などを長期観測ネットワークから明らかにする研究です。観測の結果得られるデータの解析研究とともに、新たな計測手法を観測に加えて新たな知見を得る研究も進めています。
